A reminder that all Nesbitt/Nisbet's worldwide are welcome to join the discussion and share their experiences. Our Society Talk on "Building an Accurate N/N Family Line" is just a few weeks away. Looking forward to all Society members interested in genealogy to join us. We have a knowledgeable panel of speakers to help us through the presentation and discussion. The panel will show how documented evidence and DNA can overcome brick walls and missing links. To highlight the issues with creating a sound, accurate family tree, a case study will be presented using what is documented about Alexander Nisbet (1731-1773) who lived in the Waxhaw area of Lancaster County, SC. We encourage all Nesbitt/Nisbets to join us to discuss building an accurate family tree and to share their research, knowledge, and experiences to find new clues and evidence that will finally solve the mystery. The N/N Society is currently seeking someone to fill the role of Genealogy Consultant. The responsibilities of this position are detailed in our Genealogist Consultant Guidelines.
